Abstract

This study aims to analyze the organizational commitment of frontline employees in the Indonesian banking sector using a descriptive quantitative approach. The research involved 129 frontline employees, consisting of 65 males and 64 females, measured using the Organizational Commitment Scale, which encompasses three components: affective, continuance, and normative. The analysis results indicate that affective commitment is in the moderate category, continuance commitment is in the high category, and normative commitment is in the moderate category. High continuance commitment suggests that employees tend to stay due to the perceived high cost of leaving the organization, such as losing financial benefits or job stability. Factors such as gender, age, salary, education, marital status, employment status, and tenure influence the level of organizational commitment. This study provides insights for banking management to design strategies to enhance organizational commitment, reduce turnover, and support the achievement of organizational goals.
