APAKAH EFIKASI DIRI DAPAT MEMENGARUHI BURNOUT?
Abstract
The increase in individuals experiencing mental disorders has impacted the importance of psychiatric nurses. However, in reality, many psychiatric nurses experience burnout due to work pressures. High self-efficacy is crucial for psychiatric nurses, as individuals with good self-efficacy can reduce the risk of burnout or stress at work. This study aims to examine whether self-efficacy contributes to burnout in psychiatric nurses at a mental hospital. This study was conducted on 60 psychiatric nurse respondents working at a mental hospital. This study used a burnout scale, namely the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and a self-efficacy scale, namely general self-efficacy (GSE). This study used a simple regression method, with acceptable results, namely there is an effect of self-efficacy on burnout in psychiatric nurses at a mental hospital. Another finding is the R square value of 0.262, which means a 26.2% influence of self-efficacy on burnout. This study also revealed that the level of burnout is in the moderate category and self-efficacy is at a high level.
